1. Lying down in supine anatomical position, mentally relax each part of the body at a time starting from one end to the other.
2. Picture th light entering through ears and exit through toes very slowly drawing out impurities, lactic acid, stress...
3. You are in a very dark place, pitch black around you, the light has disappeared as it exited your body and you are left alone, but not lonely.
4. Take a few long deep breaths, fill your lungs with oxygen and allow them to exhale and release through your mouth. On your own, 5 deep breaths...
5. Notice your heartbeat slowing down, as you come into an even more relaxed state.
6. In the darkness, you see a tiny round light becoming larger and larger as you approach it one step at a time. Walk toward it. Enter through the light into...
7. Place yourself in the most special and comfortable place for you. You feel so warm, so loved, so right, so happy. Place that special someone or something with you...friend, significant other, relative, teddy bear..feel the smile in your heart as well as your face. You can feel the love and joy with goose bumps on your skin and your hair standing on end..
8. When I count to three, it will all be gone and you are back in the dark again. Place yourself on the top of a large snow capped mountain. Lying flat on the snow, slide down the side of the mountain and feel yourself dropping into a pool of cool water. Experience the sensation of chills throughout your body.
9. Darkness again. Standing in front of an elevator door, press you favorite #, the doors close, feel the lift up, up, up. Stop short. Step off,look both ways, step back on. Press 1 for lobby and feel the drop back to the bottom floor.
10. Think about your life, your growth, all the events which have made you stronger. Face your weaknesses, your troubles. Only you can choose which path to cross. Will you use the fight or flight response. Stress makes you stronger. Face it. What bothers you?
11. You are relaxed. you can say anything. you are strong. You are you. No bills, parents, kids, tests, finances, job stress, chores, assignments....
12. Feel your body getting very light, palms up fingers heavy, float slowly to ceiling, separate yourself from others still on the floor. Push off the ceiling, slowly float back down, ready to conquer the world!
13. How do you feel physically now? Strong/Weak......Energetic/Lethargic....Comfortable/Uncomfortable....Flexible/Tight
14. How do you feel mentally now? Focused/Scattered.....Positive/Negative....Creative/Dull
15. How do you feel emotionally now? Happy/Sad.....Compassionate/Angry
16. What part of your body moves when you breathe? How deep, full and even are your breaths?
17. Give yourself a mental pat on the back.......let go of all your stress.......open your heart.........and draw into your own center
18. Choices...........all choices are yours (go through individual choices of life)
19. the only person who can make you feel inferior or any way....is yourself.
